Our SNS College of Pharmacy conducted one day induction program for the first year B.pharm students on 11/10/19. Our Chief Guest Dr. Jayanthasribalakrishnan graced the occasion with her enthralling speech to students and their parents.
Students actively participated in the green initiative. They planted various medicinal plant and saplings in the medicinal garden.
SNSCPHS organized a yoga session for the benefit of students during their induction program. Few basic yoga procedures were taught to students which helped them to bring peace of mind, improve memory & attention, correct breathing techniques, etc.,
In association with LIONS Club Coimbatore our students volunteered for the eye camp organized by Sankaranethralaya Hospital, Coimbatore on 9/11/2019.
In association with Lions Club of Coimbatore, our students joined hands to distribute dresses to the poor people.
As a part of National Pharmacy Week, we celebrated between 27/11/19 - 29/11/19. Our students actively came forward in spreading awareness about various day to day healthcare habits like sleeping, brushing teeth, nail care, etc., to the students of SNSCT and SNSCE.
Our students showed their outstanding creativity at national pharmacy week celebration conducted at district level by all Coimbatore pharmacy colleges and bagged first place. Also they secured 3rd place in short film contest.

Motivational seminar for students was arranged at SNSCPHS on Jan 06,2020. Mr.P.Anavarathamani, Zonal Head from a leading Pharma company delivered the seminar to students on how to believe in themselves, realize their fullest potential and also explained various scopes of pharmacy, current trends in Pharma sector and future of Pharma industries.
Leo Clubs are a youth organization of Lions Clubs International. The word "LEO" stands for Leadership, Experience, and Opportunity. LEO clubs encourage youths to develop leadership qualities by participating in social service activities. They are dependent on Lions Club to sponsor and initiate a Leo club. On Jan 09, 2020 Leo Club was successfully inaugurated at our SNSCPHS in the presence of our Chairman Dr.S.N.Subbramanian and other eminent personalities of LIONS Club of Coimbatore zone.
On the eve of 100 days of SNSCPHS (22.01.2020) inception we went on a small educational visit to Department of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, TN Agri University, Coimbatore. The Head of the Dept. Dr.Nalina described students about the importance of medicinal and aromatic plants, its role, economy and exporting potential of the same. She also gave a short tour to various garden and cultivation areas of the medicinal and aromatic plants. Students gained knowledge about the various potential about medicinal plants and their relevance to the pharma sector as well.
